Skills
The skill libraries Maestro can install, who made them, and how to add your own.
How skills install
Maestro doesn't bundle any skills. skills.json lists 6 libraries (52 skills); the installer shows them as a checklist and installs the ones you keep ticked with the skills CLI, straight from each author's repository — so you always get the current versions.
- Skills land in
~/.agents/skills(a global install,-g), where omp finds them. - Each library is one command; if it fails, the installer warns and carries on with the next.
- Skills need git and npx/bunx. If either is missing, skills are skipped and everything else still installs.
- In a non-interactive run every library is installed.

Every library keeps its own license. Maestro copies none of their code — it installs everything from the original sources.
Adding or dropping libraries
Fork the repository and edit skills.json. Each entry is a repository, a one-line description and the skills to install from it; the installer's checklist is built from this file.
[ { "repo": "coderabbitai/skills", "description": "CodeRabbit code review and auto-fixing of PR review comments", "skills": [ "autofix", "code-review" ] }, { "repo": "your-org/your-skills", "description": "What these skills are for", "skills": [ "your-skill" ] }]To remove skills you already installed, run npx skills remove -g and pick from the list.
